CENG faculty receives 'PSME Presidential Award'


Engr. Danielle Joseph Buban was honored with the Presidential Award (Plaque of Merit) by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) during the PSME Paskong Pinoy event held Dec. 14  at Titanium Hall, DOST-MIRDC Compound, Taguig City.

The award recognized his dedication, selfless service, and significant contributions to PSME, particularly in his roles as the 2024 National Quiz Master and 2024 PSME Education and Training National Deputy Vice President for CALABARZON.

College of Engineering Dean Engr. Cielito Maligalig commended Buban's achievement.

“Engr. Buban’s recognition is a testament to the impact of his leadership and service to the engineering community. His efforts inspire not only our students but also professionals across the region to strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to their fields,” Maligalig said.

Engr. Buban expressed his gratitude for the award and highlighted the importance of his role. “This recognition motivates me to continue promoting excellence and knowledge-sharing within the mechanical engineering community,” Engr. Buban said.

"Through initiatives like education and training programs, we can ensure that our engineers are equipped to meet the challenges of the future," Engr. Buban added.
