CHED formally confers Autonomous Status award to MSEUF Lucena

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) - Lucena formally received its plaque of recognition from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) during the Autonomous and Deregulated Status Awarding Ceremony to Private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Nov. 24.

Assistant to the Vice President for Academics and Research (VPAR) Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala and Vice President for Administration Dario Opistan accepted the award on behalf of University President and Chief Operating Officer Naila Leveriza and Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer Wilfrido Enverga.

MSEUF is one of 77 autonomous institutions out of 1,729 private HEIs in the Philippines. It is the only Autonomous University in Quezon Province and one of 12 autonomous HEIs in Region IV, according to the CHED Memorandum Order No. 07, Series of 2024.

Highlighting the importance of this milestone, Executive Vice President Dr. Villenas shared "This recognition affirms our dedication to providing quality education and fostering innovation. It serves as a testament to the collective efforts of our students, faculty, and staff to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and service."

"With this achievement, MSEUF continues to elevate the image of Quezon Province in the realm of higher education, solidifying its role as a leading institution in the region," Dr. Villenas said.
