CED pre-service teachers bring home regional quiz bee championship

College of Education (CED) pre-service teachers Eloiza Denise Belleza, Lhance Angelo Abarra, and Ralph Janzen Monticalvo emerged as champions in the 16th Annual Quiz Bee for Education Students.

The team secured first place during the Philippine Association for Teacher Education IV-A (PAFTE) 16th Annual Seminar and Quiz Bee for Pre-service Teachers, held Nov. 22 at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum in Batangas City.

Dr. Divinia Glifonea, CED dean, congratulated the students for their exceptional achievement.

“This victory is especially significant as it marks the return of this coveted award to our college after 15 years. It stands as a testament to the students' hard work, teamwork, and the quality mentorship they received,” Dr. Glifonea said.

Jan Vincent Cordero, CED faculty member and coach, provided invaluable guidance and support throughout the competition.

“CED celebrates this historic achievement and takes pride in inspiring the next generation of educators. Congratulations to the team for making history and upholding our legacy of excellence,” Cordero said.
