For over two decades, Cyber Eskwela has stood as the flagship Community Extension Service (CES) program of the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies (CCMS). Since its inception in 2000, this initiative has been instrumental in bridging the digital divide and empowering individuals and institutions through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) training.

Empowering Institutions, Empowering Lives

The essence of Cyber Eskwela lies in its commitment to democratizing access to ICT education, particularly in underserved communities. Through partnerships with various institutions, CCMS has extended its expertise beyond the confines of the university, reaching out to schools, government agencies, and marginalized groups.

Impact Across Institutions

Among the institutions that have benefited from Cyber Eskwela are prominent educational institutions such as Quezon National High School, Gulang-gulang National High School, Lucena City National High School, and Quezon Science High School. By equipping teachers and students with essential ICT skills, Cyber Eskwela has facilitated a paradigm shift in the way education is delivered and received.

Furthermore, the program has reached out to marginalized communities, including the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). By providing ICT training to 4Ps parent leaders and their relatives, Cyber Eskwela has empowered individuals to leverage technology for personal and economic development.

Building Capacities, Fostering Opportunities

Beyond the educational sector, Cyber Eskwela has also extended its reach to institutions such as the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). By imparting ICT skills to BJMP staff, the program not only enhances their professional capabilities but also opens doors to potential livelihood opportunities upon reintegration into society.

Adapting to Changing Times

In the face of evolving technological landscapes, Cyber Eskwela remains steadfast in its commitment to relevance and innovation. As the world transitions towards digitalization, the program continuously updates its curriculum to address emerging trends and equip beneficiaries with the skills needed to thrive in the digital age.

A Vision for the Future

As Cyber Eskwela continues to make strides in empowering communities through ICT training, CCMS remains dedicated to its mission of creating positive and sustainable impacts. With a vision of a digitally inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to harness the power of technology, Cyber Eskwela stands as a beacon of hope and progress for generations to come.
