About the Health and Safety Office
The Republic Act No. 11058 known as the “An Act Strengthening the Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof” serves as the backbone for the functions of the Health and Safety Office. Furthermore, health and safety are two different facets that have one ultimate goal – to protect our students, teaching and non-teaching staff from the hazards that may be present in the campus.
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation is an educational institution which provides educational services to its stakeholders. However, the University’s services to its students, employees and even visitors are not limited to academically-inclined functions. The University ensures that all concerned individuals inside the campus would feel safe and secure, hence, the function of the Health and Safety Office thru the Health and Safety Committee.

The health aspect provides medical and dental services to students and teaching and non-teaching personnel. Moreover, the mentioned aspect of the office aims to monitor the health status of stakeholders. Health monitoring ensures that individuals with detected illness/es get proper treatment to stop the possible spread of communicable diseases in the campus and the workplace.
While services aim to eliminate workplace illnesses in the University, campus safety ensures that the University’s employees and clients are provided with facilities that are safe and with minor to no hazard. MSEUF in the exercise of its health and safety is guided by its own program vision and mission which are the general guideposts for all policies and plans of the Health and Safety Office.
