EU welcomes new faculty, employees; HRD holds institutional orientation

The Human Resource Department of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation hosted the 2025 Institutional Orientation on Aug. 8 at the Dr. Tobias Y. Enverga Sr. Alumni Center with the theme “Igniting EUr Success: Journey with MSEUF.”

The program welcomed 52 newly hired and newly permanent faculty and employees. Dr. Benilda Villenas, OIC of the Office of the President, opened the event. Atty. Dario Opistan, vice president for administration; Mr. Carlito Rodriguez, vice president for finance; and Mr. Celso Jaballa, vice president for external relations delivered messages.

Dr. Maria Sylvia S. Avila, HRD director, led the onboarding sessions together with Dr. Jennifer Reyes, director of the Global Engagement Office; Mr. Arby Lagman, director of Health, Safety and Auxiliary Services; Mr. Rover Sinag, Web Content and Digital Engagement Officer; and Ms. Maria Isabel Granada, director of the Office of Scholarship, Endowment, Job Placement and Alumni Relations and Gender and Development focal person. They discussed HR policies, global linkages, safety protocols, digital engagement, and support programs.

“This orientation ensures that our new employees understand the University’s processes, expectations, and support systems from the start of their service,” Dr. Avila said. “It is an opportunity to align their roles with the institution’s mission, vision, goals, and core values.”
