Enverga University, Wadhwani Foundation Philippines formalize innovation collaboration
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation strengthened its commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship after signing a memorandum of understanding with Wadhwani Foundation Philippines on April 15 at the Engineering Conference Room, CET Building, to enhance entrepreneurship education and academic-industry collaboration.
Dir. Lucrecio Delgado, country director of Wadhwani Foundation Philippines, represented the organization, while Engr. Roselyn Maaño, director of the Research Publication, Incubation, and Utilization Center, represented the University. She was joined by Dr. Jennifer Reyes, director of the Global Engagement Office, and Dir. Maria Isabel Granada, director of the Office of Scholarship and Endowment, Job Placement, and Alumni Relations.
Delgado presented an overview of the foundation’s global initiatives, highlighting programs and success stories in advancing entrepreneurship education. University representatives also shared their initiatives and commitment to innovation-driven development.
The event culminated in the formal signing of the agreement, signifying a shared vision to develop entrepreneurial competencies and expand opportunities for collaboration between academia and industry.
Following the ceremony, the University recognized its WEN Ignite Certified Educators from the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies, College of Engineering, and College of Business and Accountancy, as well as affiliate campuses in Candelaria and Calauag. The University awarded certificates to honor their contributions to strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem and promoting quality education.
This initiative reflects Enverga University’s commitment to excellence, service, and fortitude by empowering educators and students to pursue innovation and industry relevance through transformative learning. It also supports the University’s goal of producing globally competitive graduates equipped with entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
