MSEUF Nursing students lead cleanup drive to support SDGs

Nursing students and faculty members from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) Colleg of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNASH) organized a successful cleanup drive at Sitio Santa Teresa, Brgy. Dalahican, Lucena City. Oct. 29

The volunteers collected more than 500 kilograms of waste, including plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other non-biodegradable materials.

Beyond cleaning the area, volunteers also engaged with residents to discuss the importance of proper waste management and its direct impact on health and well-being.

"This cleanup effort aligns with our mission to support SDG 3 by fostering healthier, cleaner communities," said Mr. Rolando Remojo, CES Coordinator of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.

The MSEUF CNAHS plans to make the cleanup drive a regular activity, demonstrating its ongoing dedication to creating a cleaner and more sustainable community for Lucena City residents. The initiative reflects MSEUF’s goal to empower students and promote public health through collaborative efforts with local communities.
