The EU Student Nurses Association collaborated with the employees of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) and distributed relief goods to families affected by Typhoon Kristine in Quezon Province, Nov. 18.

Participants packed food items, hygiene kits, and other necessities, which were distributed to affected areas as part of the university’s commitment to community service.

Dr. Maria Corazon Valdeavilla, Dean of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, commended the joint effort, saying, "This initiative is a testament to our students’ and staff’s dedication to serving the community, especially in times of need. It reflects the values we uphold as a university that prioritizes compassion and care."

"The activity embodies the spirit of Bayanihan, the Filipino tradition of unity and cooperation. It also reflects the dedication of MSEUF’s future healthcare professionals and staff to extend their care and compassion beyond institutional walls, inspiring hope, and resilience within the affected communities," Dr. Valdeavilla added.

A nursing student involved in the activity shared, "This experience reminds us of the importance of service, empathy, and unity, especially during challenging times. It’s an honor to contribute to our fellow Quezonians' recovery."

The relief initiative provides immediate support and demonstrates MSEUF's and its partners' commitment to fostering sustainable and compassionate development in the face of adversity.
