CNAHS celebrates 6th MedTech Week; partners with PH Red Cross for blood donation drive
College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS) at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) marked the 6th MedTech Week by organizing a Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross Quezon Chapter, Sept. 20.
Held on campus, the event brought together students, faculty, and volunteers to donate blood for local hospitals, reinforcing the university’s commitment to public health and Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
Dr. Carmina Tolentino, Chairperson of the Medical Technology Program, highlighted the significance of the initiative. "This activity aligns with our commitment to SDG 3 by promoting health and saving lives in our community," Dr. Tolentino said.
The week-long celebration also included seminars and student competitions aimed at increasing awareness of the vital role medical technologists play in the healthcare system.
The Blood Donation Drive exemplified the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences' dedication to advancing health, fostering community engagement, and making a lasting impact through sustainability initiatives.
