MSEUF CNAHS leads health outreach for community, student development

The College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS) at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) strengthened its commitment to public health through a Medical Mission Community Outreach Program aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) Good Health and Well-Being, Feb. 9.

The program provided essential healthcare services to community members while offering valuable hands-on training for nursing students.

The outreach program, organized in collaboration with MSEUF’s Community Relations Department and Medical-Dental Services, benefited hundreds of residents with blood pressure monitoring, health assessments, and preventive education on nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices.

Under the leadership of Dean Maria Corazon B. Valdeavilla, the college aims to address regional health challenges, enhance healthcare education, and promote wellness through these programs. The activity showcased the university’s dedication to building trust with the community and empowering its students to become skilled and compassionate healthcare providers.

This initiative also aligns with MSEUF-CNAHS’s goal of equipping students with real-world healthcare experience, encouraging them to continue serving the community beyond their academic journey.

By integrating public service, health education, and student development, MSEUF’s CNAHS plays an active role in fostering sustainable health practices in the region.
