Business students shine at PH Data Festival

Students from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) showed their prowess at the 2nd Philippine Data Festival where they bested more than 30 participating renowned universities across the country, at Century Park Hotel, Manila Oct. 3-4.

Cedric Entienza, a financial management student, together with Mhellie Althea Punchero, an accountancy student, and Lennon John Martinez, marketing student, secured the 1st place in the competition called ‘Vest in Statistics.’ 

Dr. Flormando Baldovino, CBA dean, expressed his delight at the achievement of his students. 

“I take immense pride in the outstanding achievement of our students. Their success is particularly noteworthy as we have surpassed several esteemed universities in Manila and across the country. This accomplishment not only reflects the dedication and excellence of our students but also positions our university as a formidable contender on a broader academic stage, showcasing our commitment to excellence in business education," Dr. Baldovino shared.

Meanwhile, Louise Justine Abrigo, an accountancy student, bagged 2nd place in Infographics Making.

"We excel not only in the realm of business theory and practice but also showcase our creative skills. This achievement stands as a testament to our multifaceted capabilities, highlighting that we not only understand the intricacies of business, but we also bring innovation and creativity to the forefront of our endeavors,” Dr. Baldovino added.
