CBA ETEEAP students pay tribute to faculty, staff

As a culminating activity for their Events Management course, students from the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) honored the contributions of their faculty and non-teaching staff at the Dr. Tobias Y. Enverga Sr. Building Alumni Center, May 13.

Organized by the students of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, the event recognized their mentors and staff from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), applying their planning, coordination, and organizational skills in a real-world setting and contributing to the academic community.

In their testimonial, MSEUF-ETEEAP Alumnae Kate Maureen Avenido and Leslie Anne De Alday reflected on the impacts of ETEEAP mentors on their academic and career pursuits while graduating ETEEAP students Aaron Seco, Maria Vilma Balse, and Mylene S. Corral spoke of the journey and experience they share with other students and their mentors since taking on the ETEEAP.

Moreover, CBA Dean Dr. Flormando Baldovino, shared insights on the value of investing in one’s future by pursuing further education while Event Committee Representative Rizalyn D. Quilao expressed her appreciation to all the attendees of the event.

Prof. Ashley D. Pangiligan, the Events Management adviser praised the event’s success and reiterated the department's openness to exploring culminating activities to empower learners and mentors in the ETEEAP framework.

The event was attended by 14 teaching personnel, three (3) non-teaching staff, and seven (7) ETEEAP students, and other guests invited.
