The Office of the Vice President for Administration, through the Sustainability Department, launched a new bike station near Gate 3 on Nov. 14 to further promote sustainable and active mobility at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.

The unveiling was graced by Rev. Msgr. Wilfredo Andrey and marked another step in the university’s effort to create a more accessible, eco-friendly and health-conscious campus environment.

The launch also coincided with the deployment of 25 additional bicycles, expanding the university’s bike fleet to 50 units.

MSEUF first launched the bike station project on Aug. 14, with initial stations placed in front of the Criminology Building and beside Gate 1. The new station near Gate 3 extends access to more members of the university community and supports safer, more convenient movement across campus.

Through the project, the university encourages students, employees and visitors to consider active transportation as part of daily campus life. The initiative also promotes reduced carbon emissions, healthier routines and a stronger culture of environmental responsibility.

The bike station expansion reflects MSEUF’s continuing commitment to sustainable campus development and practical solutions that support both wellness and environmental care.

The initiative reflected MSEUF’s commitment to responsible campus development by promoting active mobility, health and environmental stewardship. It also upheld the core values of Mindfulness, Excellence and Service as the university continued to invest in programs that benefit people and the environment.
