Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation has officially joined the ASEAN University Network-Ecological Education and Culture, strengthening its commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainability education and regional academic collaboration.

The university was formally welcomed as one of the network’s newest member institutions during the 2026 General Assembly held March 26 via Zoom and facilitated by the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability.

Representing MSEUF during the assembly were Drake Borris Garcia, auxiliary services staff, and Antoine Hernandez, administrative staff of the Sustainability Department.

The milestone reflects MSEUF’s continuing effort to embed ecological consciousness and sustainable development across its academic programs, research initiatives and institutional operations.

As part of the regional network, the university gains more opportunities to collaborate with higher education institutions in advancing sustainability education, cultural awareness and environmental responsibility.

Through active engagement with AUN-EEC, the MSEUF Sustainability Department further strengthens its role in promoting sustainability initiatives that are globally aligned and locally responsive.

The membership also supports innovation, knowledge exchange and collective action toward a more sustainable future within the ASEAN community.

The milestone reflected MSEUF’s commitment to globally competitive education and responsible institutional development by expanding partnerships that support sustainability, culture and ecological awareness. It also upheld the core values of Mindfulness, Excellence and Unity as the university joined regional efforts to promote environmental responsibility and shared learning.
