Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation has begun Phase 1 of its streetlight project with the installation of 12 additional streetlights along Kalayaan Drive to improve nighttime visibility and strengthen campus safety.

Led by Atty. Dario Opistan, vice president for administration, the project supports the university’s continuing effort to provide a safer and more secure environment for students, employees and visitors.

The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Health, Safety and Auxiliary Services Department and the General Services Department.

The additional streetlights will complement the university’s existing lighting infrastructure and help improve visibility in key campus areas, especially during evening hours.

After the completion of Phase 1, the university will proceed with Phase 2, which will extend the streetlight installation along Enverga Boulevard up to the Maritime Department.

Through the project, MSEUF continues to prioritize safety, accessibility and responsible campus development for the benefit of the university community.

The initiative reflected MSEUF’s commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and well-managed campus environment. It also upheld the core values of Mindfulness, Service and Excellence as the university continues to invest in improvements that protect and support its community.
