Enverga University implements safety measures ahead of Typhoon Uwan

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation implemented precautionary measures in anticipation of Typhoon Uwan to safeguard university facilities and help ensure the safety of the Enverga community.

Under the direction of Atty. Dario Opistan, vice president for administration, the university carried out campus-wide preparations to reduce possible risks brought by the approaching typhoon.

The measures included the clearing of canals and drainage systems, inspection of buildings, securing of structures and other preventive actions across campus facilities.

These preparations aimed to minimize flooding risks, protect university property and maintain readiness for possible weather-related disruptions.

The initiative reflected the university’s proactive approach to disaster preparedness and safety management. It also emphasized the importance of coordination among offices and personnel in protecting students, employees and stakeholders during severe weather conditions.

Through these efforts, MSEUF reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a safe, resilient and prepared campus environment.
