HSASD partners with CDRRMO for first aid, emergency response training

The Health, Safety and Auxiliary Services Department, in partnership with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, concluded a multi-day Basic Life Support and First Aid Training on Oct. 23, at the Library Seminar Hall of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.

The intensive training aimed to strengthen the emergency response skills of participants and promote a stronger culture of safety within the university community.

Through the program, participants gained practical knowledge and essential skills in basic life support, first aid response and emergency preparedness. The training also reinforced the importance of quick, calm and informed action during emergencies.

The activity supported the university’s continuing effort to prepare personnel and stakeholders for situations that require immediate assistance and coordinated response.

By completing the training, participants became better equipped to contribute to campus safety and help protect the well-being of students, employees and visitors.

The partnership with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office also highlighted the value of collaboration in building a safer and more resilient university environment.


The initiative reflected MSEUF’s commitment to protecting the welfare of its community through proactive safety training and preparedness programs. It also upheld the core values of Mindfulness, Service, Unity and Fortitude as the university worked with local partners to strengthen emergency readiness and resilience.
