MSEUF grads join in 'Kalayaan Job Fair'
Graduating students and alumni of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) submitted their résumés during the Kalayaan Job Fair at the St. Jude Cooperative Hotel and Event Center in Lucena City.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) organized the fair in celebration of Independence Day, June 12.
More than 30 companies across the region offered over a thousand job vacancies, covering a wide range of roles from entry-level to technical positions. The event aimed to provide job seekers with direct access to employment opportunities, with some companies open to hiring fresh graduates on the spot and providing in-house training.
DOLE Regional Director Atty. Erwin N. Aquino, in his keynote message, emphasized the government’s priority of generating employment to uplift the economic conditions of Filipino families and promote social justice and equality.
MSEUF, through its Job Placement Office (JPO), continues to support employment facilitation by expanding its partnerships with industry and government agencies. As a DOLE-accredited institution, MSEUF JPO offers pre-employment programs that enhance the job readiness of students and graduates, in addition to providing labor market information and job matching support.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to helping students transition from academic life to meaningful employment through proactive engagement with the labor sector.
