A significant step toward strengthening academe-industry collaboration was formalized as the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) entered into a partnership with Dyson Electronics PTE LTD through a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at Dyson Philippines, First Philippine Industrial Park II, Special Economic Zone, Barangay San Rafael, Sto Tomas, Batangas.

The MOA paves the way for enhanced opportunities for MSEUF engineering students through internship, on-the-job training (OJT), and practicum programs, aligning academic preparation with the evolving demands of the global technology industry.

Dyson Philippines, known for its advanced work in engineering design, power electronics, and high-performance technology development, continues to position itself as a key innovation hub in the country. Its collaboration with academic institutions reflects a strong commitment to developing globally competitive Filipino engineers.

Through this partnership, MSEUF students will gain access to real-world engineering environments, where they can participate in hands-on training, product development exposure, and industry-driven learning experiences.

The MSEUF Delegation was led by Vice President for External Relations Celso D. Jaballa, accompanied by Ma. Isabel Granada, Director of the Office of Scholarship, Job Placement, and Alumni Relations (OSEJPAR); Dr. Ronaldo Maano, OIUC Dean of the College of Engineering; Dr. James Louie Meneses; and Engr. Danielle Joseph Hernandez Buban.

In a brief program, VP Jaballa expressed MSEUF’s appreciation for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of the collaboration in preparing students for professional practice. “We are truly grateful for this partnership that bridges education and industry, ensuring that our students, aside from knowledge, will be equipped with the competencies required in real-world engineering environments,” he said.

The news aligns strongly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):               SDG 4: Quality Education- Providing hands-on learning through internship, OJT, and practicum, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Increasing students’ employability and job readiness.                                                                                                                                                                                  SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure – Exposure to advanced technologies and engineering systems.                                                                                                                                                             SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – Collaboration between MSEUF and Dyson Philippines
