Enverga University strengthens industry linkages through Dyson partnership

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation formalized a partnership with Dyson Electronics Pte. Ltd. through a memorandum of agreement signing at Dyson Philippines in First Philippine Industrial Park II, Sto. Tomas, Batangas, to expand internship, on-the-job training and practicum opportunities for engineering students.
The partnership aims to align students’ academic preparation with the evolving demands of the global technology industry. Through the agreement, MSEUF engineering students will gain access to real-world engineering environments where they can experience hands-on training, product development exposure and industry-driven learning.
Dyson Philippines, known for its work in engineering design, power electronics and high-performance technology development, serves as an innovation hub that supports the development of globally competitive Filipino engineers.
The MSEUF delegation was led by Celso Jaballa, vice president for external relations. He was joined by Ma. Isabel Granada, director of the Office of Scholarship, Job Placement and Alumni Relations; Dr. Ronaldo Maano, officer-in-charge dean of the College of Engineering; Dr. James Louie Meneses; and Engr. Danielle Joseph Hernandez Buban.
In his message, Jaballa thanked Dyson Philippines for the warm welcome and emphasized the value of the partnership in preparing students for professional practice.
“We are truly grateful for this partnership that bridges education and industry, ensuring that our students, aside from knowledge, will be equipped with the competencies required in real-world engineering environments,” Jaballa said.
The MOA strengthened MSEUF’s continuing effort to build meaningful academe-industry partnerships that support student readiness, employability and professional growth. It also opened more pathways for engineering students to engage with advanced technologies and industry standards before entering the workforce.
The partnership reflected MSEUF’s commitment to globally competitive, outcomes-oriented education by connecting classroom learning with real engineering practice. It also upheld the core values of Excellence, Service and Fortitude as the university continued to prepare students for professional competence, innovation and meaningful contribution to industry and society.
