MSEUF joins Wadhwani's skilling network for South Luzon partners
To empower students with future-ready competencies, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) was invited to join the Skilling Network for South Luzon Partners, an event organized by the Wadhwani Foundation (WF) at the National University Inspire Lounge in Manila, May 5.
The event brought together academic institutions and industry partners dedicated to workforce development and skills training. Leading the MSEUF delegation were Vice President for Academic Affairs Celso Jaballa, Director Reina Pasumbal of the Learning and Development Center, and Director Maria Isabel Granada of the Office of Scholarships & Endowment, Job Placement and Alumni Relations.
The highlight of the event was an engagement with global leaders of the Wadhwani Foundation, including Dr. Ajay Kela, President and CEO, and Mr. Gopal Devanahalli, President of the Skilling Division.
The dialogue focused on aligning academic strategies with global standards in job readiness and employability.
MSEUF, recognized by WF as its first partner institution in Quezon Province, reaffirmed its shared commitment to equipping students with industry-relevant skills that lead to family-sustaining employment.
During the discussions, Director Pasumbal shared the University’s existing skilling programs for graduating students and its goal to integrate WF’s Job Ready modules into the curriculum of both senior high school and college levels.
- This partnership reinforces MSEUF’s ongoing efforts to bridge education with employment by preparing graduates who are not only knowledgeable but also skilled, adaptable, and globally competitive.
- Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
This initiative contributes directly to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive and equitable skill development, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through employability-focused education, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration between academia and global development institutions.
