MSEUF screens top SHS graduates for M&W Honor Scholarship grant; 78 slots remain for aspiring freshmen scholars
A total of 151 incoming first-year college students, recognized as With High Honors and With Highest Honors awardees from 61 senior high schools across Quezon Province and nearby areas took part in the scholarship screening activity for the Maroon and White Honor Scholarship Grant held on May 24, 2025, at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF).
The program aims to provide scholarship opportunities to academically excellent students and encourage them to pursue board examination courses at MSEUF. Out of 333 registered applicants, 175 submitted complete documentary requirements, including the Principal's Certification of the Grant, qualifying them for further evaluation. Only 78 scholarship slots are available under the program.
Designed to strengthen the University’s scholarship initiatives, the Maroon and White Honor Scholarship Grant serves not only as a financial aid program but also as an academic retention effort. Scholars accepted into the program will form a cohort that will be monitored throughout their academic journey—from enrollment to graduation and through the successful completion of licensure examinations.
- This initiative reflects MSEUF’s commitment to accessible quality education and its strategic vision to produce competent board passers who will contribute meaningfully to national development.
- Aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), the program reinforces the University’s efforts in creating inclusive learning environments and fostering academic excellence across various disciplines.
