CRD, OSAS, student orgs hold 'Pamaskong Handog 2024'
 

The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) through the Community Relations Deparment (CRD) and Office of Student Affairs anf Services (OSAS) held its annual 'Pamaskong Handog 2024' at the St. Bonaventure Student Center where 200 chosen beneficiaries from the University’s adopted schools and community, participated in the event, Dec. 13.

The beneficiaries came from Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School, Lucena City National High School - Mayao Crossing Extension, and Barangay Karachi. The initiative aligns with the university’s three-fold function of instruction, research, and community service.

“This activity is our way of spreading happiness and joy to children during the Christmas season,” OSAS Director Joana Fe Panganiban said.

University Collegiate Student Council (UCSC) and various accredited student organizations assisted the OSAS and CRD. Participating student organizations included:

  • A Group Harvesting Acquired Knowledge through Scientific Method
  • Christ’s Youth in Action
  • Enverga University-Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants
  • Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines-QSC
  • Kalipunan ng Mag-aaral sa Filipino at Araling Panlipunan
  • MSEUF DOST Scholars’ Guild
  • MSEUF Wildcats Esports
  • Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers - Student Chapter
  • Philippine Society of Information Technology Students
  • Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers
  • Society of Financial Management Students

“We are grateful to all the student organizations that collaborated to make this event a success,” OSAS Student Organizations Coordinator Roderick Rabina said. 

The gift-giving activity highlighted the university’s commitment to community service and its role in fostering a spirit of generosity among Envergans.
