OSAS launches 1st 'EU Leaders' seminar; over 90 Envergan student leaders participate
With over 90 student leaders in attendance, the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) held its first seminar titled "EU Leaders: Empowering and Uniting for Collaborative Success" on Aug. 6.
Lea T. Salas, Corporate Planning and Development Officer, emphasized the significance of teamwork and adaptability.
"Collaboration is key. When student leaders come together, we achieve greater success. Flexibility in planning ensures that projects remain aligned with the University's Strategic and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)," Salas said.
Health and Safety Officer Arby Lagman reinforced the importance of readiness and safety in all student initiatives.
"Effective communication and proper safety measures should always be in place to ensure the well-being of everyone involved. Safety is everyone's responsibility," Lagman stated during his session.
Roderick Rabina, Coordinator of the Office of Student Organizations, underscored the value of aligning student activities with the University's mission and vision.
"Our goal is to centralize student-led initiatives around the University's SDGs, ensuring that every project not only serves the students but also contributes to the broader objectives of sustainability and development," Rabina explained.
The seminar highlighted collaboration, safety, and strategic alignment, aiming to empower student leaders to create impactful projects in the future.
