CCMS makes history with record number of honor graduates

The College of Computing and Multimedia Studies will mark another historic milestone at Enverga University’s 79th Commencement Exercises, Cluster 2, on July 3 as it presents the highest number of Latin honor graduates in CCMS history, led by all five summa cum laude awardees of the University.
The college will celebrate 15 Proud Cyber Envergan Academic Awardees, composed of five summa cum laude, seven magna cum laude and three cum laude graduates from its computer science, information technology and entertainment and multimedia computing programs.
This year’s summa cum laude awardees are Princess Nicole Oriola, Peter Angelo Dantes and Lance Alexander Ventura from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program with specialization in data science; and Marcus Lester Combalecer and Asher Gabriel Pantoja from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program with specialization in web and mobile application.
Combalecer also received the Excellence in IT Capstone Project award.
The magna cum laude awardees are Nicole S. Enriquez and Voltaire Parraba Jr. from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program with specialization in web and mobile application; John Leo Echevaria, Matthew Adelbert Oblea, Rainzle John Estuesta and Johann Sebastiane Catalla from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program with specialization in data science; and Meireen Cumahig from the Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing program with specialization in digital animation technology.
Cumahig also received the Excellence in EMC Capstone Project award, while Catalla received the Excellence in Computer Science Research award.
The cum laude graduates are Ian M. Ling and Laurence John Z. Vendiola from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program with specialization in data science; and Vinz Henry C. Rubio from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program with specialization in web and mobile application. Rubio also received the Loyalty Award.
The historic achievement placed CCMS in a strong position during this year’s commencement season, showing the college’s growing culture of academic excellence, innovation and future-ready learning.
As the awardees march on July 3, they will carry not only their personal achievements but also a collective milestone for the college, proving that Cyber Envergans continue to raise the standard in computing, technology, multimedia and digital innovation.
This achievement reflects Enverga University’s commitment to excellence, transformative learning and globally competitive education. It also affirms the University’s goal of producing graduates with research-based knowledge, leadership skills and professionalism.
