The College of Education conducted CEDventure: CED Bisita Eskwela Program 2025, part of the Piyestang Titser 2025 celebration,at the EMRC Main and St. Bonaventure Student Center, April 13.
Ms. Jilliane Bala, an alumna of the College of Education, shared how her journey at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation shaped her personal and professional growth. Her story highlighted the important role teachers play in shaping lives beyond the classroom.
The program featured a seminar on the pathways to becoming an educator and interactive exhibits of instructional materials prepared by CED’s pre-service teachers. These activities aimed to give visitors a better understanding of the teaching profession.
Led by the department’s Institutional Marketing and Promotions (IMP) Coordinator, the event opened its doors to senior high school students from Quezon National High School (QNHS) which gave the participants the opportunity to experience what it means to pursue a career in education.
- Through this experience, the College of Education hopes to inspire more young individuals from QNHS to choose the teaching profession and commit themselves to making a positive impact in their communities.
- This activity supports the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 4 – Quality Education: Promoting the value of education and preparing future teachers.
- SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: Building skills for meaningful and sustainable careers.
- SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: Encouraging access to education and professional opportunities for all.
