MSEUF-CEd holds collaborative curriculum reviews with key stakeholders
MSEUF-College of Education conducted a curriculum review with the alumni, faculty, parents, students, and stakeholders to assess and suggest improvements to the current curriculum held at the AEC 206, Sept.10.
The review was marked by active engagement from participants, who examined the curriculum’s relevance, course arrangement, and student workload. Feedback and recommendations included redistributing courses across semesters and addressing the concerns over term workloads, offering valuable guidance for future curriculum adjustments.
Alumni attendees included Nicole M. Luna (Batch 2022, BEEd), Kristhine Joy Lusterio (Batch 2019, BSEd-English), Angelika Louise Tan (Batch 2023, BSEd-Science), and Le An Jarabe (Batch 2024, BPEd). Dr. Rolito M. Inojosa, Principal III of Gulang-Gulang National High School, represented the adopted school.
At the same time, parent Clarisse D. Cordero and student Joseph Israel Aureada (4th Year, BSEd-Mathematics) also provided key insights. Faculty members, led by Mr. Hubert P. Loresto, Mr. Dexter S. Villamin, Dean Divinia J. Glifonea, and program chairpersons Ms. Denlyn Joy A. Halili, Ms. Marie Grace M. Jasolin, and Ms. Josephine L. Belen, were instrumental in the review process.
The collected insights from this collaborative effort will serve as a foundation for future curriculum reforms, ensuring the programs remain responsive to the needs of both students and educators.
