By using your University Email (Microsoft Account), you can easily verify your student status and enjoy these massive savings. Just follow our simple guide below.
Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Student Discounts on Spotify and Other Services

Log into your Spotify account:
Open spotify.com on your browser, log in, and go to Account by clicking your profile picture at the top-right corner.

Manage your subscription:
In the Your Plan section, find your current subscription and click it to manage your plan.

Join Premium:
If you’re on Spotify Free, click Join Premium at the bottom of the page.

Select the Student Plan:
Scroll down to the Student Plan and click Get Premium Student to proceed.

Verify your student status:
Follow the prompts to verify that you are a student.

Complete the verification form:
Enter the following details:- Country: Philippines
- School: Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (Lucena, Quezon Province)
- Email: Your University Email (e.g., @student.mseuf.edu.ph)
Fill out the rest of the form, check the consent box, and submit it.

Log in to your University Email (Microsoft Account):
You will be redirected to Microsoft’s sign-in page. Log in with your University Email and accept any permissions required.

Submit supporting documents if needed:
If requested, upload any one of these documents for verification:- Student ID / RFID (front side only)
- Tuition Receipt
- Registration Form
Note: If you’re using your phone to submit a photo of the document, be sure to use the default camera without editing the photo. Editing might cause disapproval.

Wait for verification:
Once submitted, it may take some time to verify your documents. After verification, you will be able to proceed by clicking Get Student Discount.

Confirm your account and plan:
You will see how long your student status will be valid. Confirm your details and proceed to select a payment method.

Choose your billing type and payment method:
Select your billing type if it's auto-renew or one-time payment, and for ease of payment, we recommend using GCash.

Complete the transaction:
If you are on desktop, scan the QR code with your GCash app. Follow the instructions to authorize the payment.

Verify your subscription:
Once payment is completed, return to your Spotify account to see the updated Spotify Premium Student Plan.

You’ve successfully availed your student discount! Enjoy your subscription to Spotify Premium (or other services like YouTube Premium or Apple Music) at almost half the price. Remember, you can reapply for the student discount once your status expires, as long as your University Email and documents remain valid.

Avoid using it on websites that seem suspicious or offer inappropriate content, as doing so may expose you to risks and privacy concerns.
Spotify and many other services, such as YouTube Premium and Apple Music, use SheerID to verify your student status. You can use your University Email to get discounts on these platforms too. While the verification steps may vary slightly, you will still need to go through SheerID with your school email and potentially submit documents, as explained above.
