MSEUF strengthens international ties with SIM Global Education through benchmarking visit
Dr. Jennifer B. Reyes, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of Special Internationalization Projects at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), visited SIM Global Education in Singapore to pursue a benchmarking and coordination meeting aimed at advancing the University’s internationalization goals.
Mr. Jeremy Oh, Senior Specialist for Regional Recruitment welcomed Dr. Reyes.
SIM Global Education is one of Singapore’s premier private institutions, recognized for its strong emphasis on future-ready education, innovation, and global connectivity. These priorities closely align with MSEUF’s mission to offer globally competitive, 21st-century academic programs that respond to evolving global standards.
This collaborative initiative was first discussed during a virtual meeting on June 27, 2025, where Dr. Reyes met with Mr. Oh and Ms. Candy Villafuerte, Country Representative for the Philippines. The preliminary conversation laid the groundwork for possible academic linkages and mutual exchange programs.
Dr. Reyes’ in-person visit helped deepen these initial discussions, enabling both institutions to align on shared objectives and explore the details of a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). A guided tour of SIM’s modern, multi-building campus—spanning Blocks A through D—also offered valuable insights into the infrastructure, learning technologies, and academic culture that define SIM’s approach to higher education.
“This visit marks an important step forward in building meaningful global partnerships,” Dr. Reyes shared. “We are excited about the potential to co-develop international programs and opportunities for both students and faculty.”
The engagement supports MSEUF’s broader commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting global academic excellence and lifelong learning. It also highlights SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through strategic collaborations with international institutions to foster inclusive and sustainable global education.
With this partnership on the horizon, MSEUF continues to strengthen its global footprint—ensuring that Envergans are equipped not just for the local industry, but for the world stage.
