To coordinate support for families under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) shared its community extension initiatives at the first-semester Provincial External Partner Stakeholders Meeting on April 25, 2025, at Kusina ni Pareng Avel, Nawawalang Paraiso, in Tayabas City.

Dr. Milagrosa Lawas represented the University’s main campus, while Cherrylyn Baniqued represented MSEUF Catanauan. The meeting brought together Department of Social Welfare and Development representatives, academic institutions, civil society organizations and local government personnel from across Quezon Province.

MSEUF Catanauan reported activities conducted with the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office. These included a team-building activity for 42 participants at Marga Selina’s Place on Nov. 30, 2024, and Family Day events that engaged more than 240 participants from Poblacion and Barangay Madulao.

The University also reported that its main campus provided donation packages for 159 4Ps parent leaders during the Parent Leaders Congress at the PAGCOR Building.

MSEUF Catanauan presented its Grade 12 community immersion program, which ran from Jan. 20 to March 24, 2025. The program gave students practical exposure to community dynamics and human relations.

Provincial Link for Administration Jaztin Paul Farne presented provincial 4Ps accomplishments. Partner institutions also shared completed extension and capability-building activities for program beneficiaries.

An open forum covered health interventions, social welfare monitoring and proposed community activities. Discussions encouraged partners to participate in local advisory councils and expand cooperation across sectors.

MSEUF’s participation connected community service, student learning and cooperation with external partners. It reflected Service through support for 4Ps families and Unity through coordinated work among University campuses, government personnel and community organizations.

  • SDG 1: No Poverty. The reported donation initiatives supported families participating in 4Ps, while the meeting coordinated partner assistance for program beneficiaries.
  • SDG 4: Quality Education. The Grade 12 immersion program connected academic learning with practical community experience.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The meeting provided a venue for academic institutions, government representatives and civil society organizations to share accomplishments and coordinate community programs.
