MSEUF receives international awards in the WURI Summit; Chairman Enverga extends appreciation
Sincere gratitude and heartfelt delight are extended by Chairman Wilfrido L. Enverga, CEO, to the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation delegation for representing the University at the World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI) Summit, held at Tongmyong University in Busan, South Korea, September 24-26.
This involvement continues the Enverga tradition of seeking high-quality education that transcends boundaries and demonstrates the University’s unwavering commitment to global excellence, innovation, and collaboration with academic leaders worldwide.
The delegates from MSEUF received international recognition for presenting the top-ranked university cases per category, along with nearly 500 participants from various countries, with
Philippine delegates make up almost two-thirds of the total number.
MSEUF was recognized as 157th place overall among the Global Top 400 Universities, with distinctions, namely, 5th place for B7 Cost-Effectiveness Management for the program “EARNergy Unli”, 16th place for A4 Entrepreneurial Spirit for the program “IGNITE–EU”, and 26th place for B4 Cultural Values for the program “MABUHAY: The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence”.
The University Auditor, Ms. Czharina Grace Reyes, presented EARNergy Unli, MSEUF’s 5th placer in the Cost-Effectiveness Management category, under the supervision of the VP for Administration, Atty. Dario Opistan. MSEUF’s flagship green initiative project, “EARNergy Unli,” highlighted the University’s commitment to sustainability and innovation on a global stage.
Meanwhile, Director Maria Isabel D. Granada presented the 16th place IGNITE–EU Program in the entrepreneurial spirit category, spearheaded by Director Roselyn Maaño of the Research, Publication, Incubation, and Utilization Center. The Innovation and Growth Network for Incubating Talent and Entrepreneurship-Enverga University (IGNITE–EU) Program aims to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, transform research ideas into market-ready solutions, and build an ecosystem that links students, faculty, alumni, industry, and government.
Ms. Reyes also presented MABUHAY: The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence, which ranked 26th in the Cultural Values category, on behalf of Dr. Jennifer Reyes. The Mabuhay Gesture: A Filipino Brand of Service Excellence is a Department of Tourism program extended to universities like Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, which champions the integration of Filipino values—Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa—into education and service training to enhance hospitality, professionalism, and community pride in the country’s tourism industry.
The said summit, hosted by Tongmyong University in South Korea, was promoted as a leading academic institution for industry-academic practical education.
As a proactive organization, Enverga University enters the global arena with the goal of gaining recognition, establishing international networks, and engaging in collaborative initiatives with other academic institutions. Through cultural exchanges, it also aims to share and absorb best practices from other institutions.
