Enverga University marks milestone with groundbreaking of Multi-Purpose Event Center


In underscoring the institution's commitment to expanding facilities that support academic, cultural, and community activities, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation officially marked a new milestone in its campus development with the groundbreaking ceremony for its Multi-Purpose Event Center June 4.
The ceremony was led by University Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Wilfrido Enverga and University President and Chief Operating Officer Naila Leveriza, who joined university officials and stakeholders in commemorating the start of the project's construction.
The program opened with a prayer led by Arby Lagman, director of the Sustainability Department. Vice President for Administration Atty. Dario Opistan delivered the welcome remarks, emphasizing the significance of the Multi-Purpose Event Center as a modern venue for university events, student engagement, and institutional gatherings. Once completed, the facility is expected to serve as a central hub for academic, cultural, and community functions across the university.
A symbolic groundbreaking and time capsule-laying ceremony followed, with key university officials and project stakeholders participating in the activity. Those present included Vice President for External Relations Celso Jaballa, Acting Vice President for Academics and Research Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, EXECOM/TWG Architect Raul Villanueva, Engr. Misail Laygo of Laygo Builders, and University Collegiate Student Council President Yuan Rafael Hernandez.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Vice President Carlito Rodriguez, who expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to the realization of the project.
The construction of the Multi-Purpose Event Center represents another step in Enverga University's continuing efforts to strengthen its campus infrastructure and provide learning environments that support collaboration, student development, and institutional growth.
