Chairman Enverga visits Betis in Guagua, Pampanga
In line with its continuing efforts to elevate campus facilities and strengthen industry partnerships, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) conducted a benchmarking visit to furniture and design establishments in Guagua, Pampanga, on April 29, in preparation for the development of the newly renovated coffee shop of “The Manor” at the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (CIHTM). The visit was led by the Chairman of the Board and CEO Atty. Wilfrido Lopez-Enverga, together with members of the university delegation.
The benchmarking activity began at GAZA G.E.J. Furniture, where the delegation was welcomed by its CEO, Gary Gaza. During the visit, the company showcased a variety of premium furniture pieces and interior design concepts that may complement the envisioned aesthetic and functionality of the CIHTM coffee shop. University officials carefully evaluated the materials, craftsmanship, and overall suitability of the products for the project.
The team also proceeded to JB Woodcraft Incorporated for another ocular inspection and product presentation. Representatives from the company introduced several furniture samples and customized design options that could potentially be integrated into the university’s hospitality learning facilities. The visit allowed the delegation to gather valuable insights and compare design approaches from prospective suppliers.
Following the benchmarking activities, the university team was treated to lunch at Fabrika Dining, where they enjoyed some of the restaurant’s well-loved specialties, including laing, pork kare-kare, and shrimp okoy. The visit not only provided opportunities for sourcing quality furnishings but also reinforced the university’s commitment to creating modern and industry-inspired learning spaces for its students and stakeholders.
