Chairman Enverga welcomes UB delegates for exhibition match vs. MSEUF Wildcats

University Chairman Wilfrido L. Enverga warmly accepted the University President, officials, and varsity players of the University of Batangas (UB) in a monumental exhibition game as a kick-off activity of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) Intramural Games, Nov. 6.
The University of Batangas delegation includes the University President Lily Marlene J. Hernandez-Bohn, UB Athletic Director Christopher Quizon, and Sports Coordinator Henrey Gonzales.
The officials from MSEUF, namely Chairman, CEO Wilfrido L. Enverga, VP for External Relations Celso Jaballa, VP for Administration Dario Opistan, and VP for Finance Carlito Rodriguez, presented a kiping to the guests, a token reflective of Quezon’s Pahiyas Festival.
“The festival celebrates a bountiful harvest, which for us also symbolizes a fruitful partnership,” VP Opistan said. “We at Enverga University give thanks for this friendship. Both our Universities share the same values—offering quality private education and fostering community development in our respective provinces,” VP Opistan added.
As a sign of amity and acceptance, the UB officials handed over the iconic balisong, a symbolic representation of the pride and craftsmanship of Batangas.
“The balisong embodies precision, resilience, and strength—traits that reflect both our institutions,” UB President Hernandez-Bohn said.
Meanwhile, an 18-point margin sealed victory for the MSEUF Wildcats over the UB Brahmans in a basketball exhibition match, 72–54.
