CCMS faculty member earns Master in Game Design degree
Strengthening faculty expertise in game development and multimedia computing, Instructor Reimarc Dalay of the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies earned his Master in Game Design degree from Asia Pacific College during ceremonies held Aug. 5 at the SMX Convention Center.
Dalay completed the graduate program with the capstone project “Echoes of the Lost: The Horror of War in the Filipino Trenches,” reflecting the application of game design to a Filipino historical and cultural context.
His completion of the specialized graduate degree strengthened his academic and professional preparation in game design, an area closely connected with the evolving fields of interactive media, game development and multimedia computing.
The achievement also contributes to the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies’ continuing faculty development efforts as it prepares students for emerging opportunities and technologies in creative and digital industries.
Dalay is identified in the submitted information as the first faculty member of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation to complete a Master in Game Design degree.
