MSEUF researchers collaborate for food security study; RPIUC director presents in international conference Malaysia
Engr. Roselyn Maaño of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) represented the University at the IEEE 2025 7th Symposium on Future Telecommunication Technologies (SOFTT) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Aug. 26.
Engr. Maaño presented the research paper “Price Variation Analysis for Food Security through Clustering Techniques and ARIMA Forecasting Using R,” which examined food price trends using advanced data analytics and forecasting tools.
“Our study provides a data-driven approach to analyze food price movements and create reliable forecasts that can support decision-making on food security,” Engr. Maaño said.
She co-authored the study with Mary Meliza Parcon, Ralyn Bermudez, Ma. Jennifer Matias, Macaulay Bagnate, and Leah Salas.
Maaño said the collaborative effort demonstrated how research teams can contribute to addressing critical social issues.
“This work reflects our collective commitment to produce relevant research that responds to national and global concerns,” Engr. Maaño said.
“The inclusion of our paper in IEEE Xplore and Scopus will provide wider access to our work and reflects MSEUF’s growing participation in international research,” Engr. Maaño said.
