8 Envergan researchers present studies at int'l conference in Indonesia

Strengthening international research engagement and expanding opportunities for academic collaboration, eight researchers from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation presented their studies at the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Nexus of Data and Information Technology (ICANDIT 2026) held July 7-8 at Nusa Putra University in Sukabumi, Indonesia.
ICANDIT 2026 focused on innovation, collaboration and sustainability in data science, artificial intelligence and information technology. The conference brought together researchers, industry leaders, policymakers and students to exchange knowledge on digital transformation and technology-driven responses to global challenges.
Representing MSEUF were Dr. Jennifer Reyes, head of Global Engagement and Linkages; Engr. Roselyn Maaño, head of the Research Publication, Incubation and Utilization Center; Dr. Myrna Casipit, head of University Libraries; Dexter Villamin, faculty member of the College of Education; Cheeky Rose Villamarzo, faculty member of the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies; John Rover Sinag, head of the Center for Marketing Innovation and Digital Engagement; Dr. Carmina Tolentino, head of University Laboratories; and Dr. Raleen Cortez, faculty member of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
All eight University researchers submitted papers for peer review, received acceptance and presented their respective studies during the conference. Engr. Maaño and Dr. Reyes represented MSEUF onsite in Indonesia, while the other six researchers delivered their presentations virtually.
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation also supported ICANDIT 2026 as a Bronze Sponsor, further strengthening its engagement with the international academic community. The participation provided University researchers with opportunities to disseminate their work, exchange ideas with international scholars and explore potential partnerships and research collaborations.
Through its participation in ICANDIT 2026, MSEUF strengthened the visibility of its research initiatives while advancing its internationalization efforts and promoting a culture of scholarly collaboration, research quality and knowledge dissemination.
The participation supported the University’s commitment to research-based knowledge, global competitiveness and internationalization by enabling faculty researchers to present their work in an international academic forum. It also reflected the core values of Excellence and Unity through multidisciplinary research, knowledge exchange and collaboration with academic partners beyond the Philippines.
