Enverga University, DTI Quezon forge innovation partnership

Advancing innovation, entrepreneurship and business development, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation and the Department of Trade and Industry–Quezon Provincial Office signed a memorandum of understanding on July 23 at the College of Engineering Conference Room.

The Research Publication, Incubation and Utilization Center represented the University in establishing the partnership, which will support business incubation, startup development, entrepreneurship and capability-building programs.

Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, acting vice president for academics and research, delivered the welcome remarks, while Julieta Tadiosa, provincial director of DTI Quezon, shared a message during the ceremony.

Vice President for External Relations Celso Jaballa and Dr. Ayala signed the agreement on behalf of the University, while Tadiosa represented DTI Quezon. Maria Isabel Granada, Dr. Jennifer Reyes, Dr. Ronaldo Maaño, Dr. Rodrigo Belleza Jr. and Engr. Roselyn Maaño witnessed the signing with DTI Quezon representatives Anna Marie Quincina, Jaryz Eden Lloce and Regine Avellano.

Jaballa delivered the closing remarks before representatives of both institutions discussed prospective collaborative initiatives. The partnership aims to empower researchers and entrepreneurs, strengthen innovation-driven programs and create opportunities that contribute to sustainable economic and community development.

The agreement marked the beginning of a strategic collaboration between the University and DTI Quezon toward supporting entrepreneurship, technology transfer, business incubation and inclusive development.

The partnership supports the University’s threefold function of instruction, research and community service by creating opportunities to transform research and innovative ideas into initiatives that benefit entrepreneurs and communities. It also advances the University’s vision of global competitiveness and reflects the core values of Service, Excellence and Unity through collaborative and innovation-driven programs.
