The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers held a welcome party on Sept. 5 at CET 217, CET 216, and CET 214 to formally introduce newly accepted members of the organization.
The activity gathered 72 second-year, 22 third-year, and 29 fourth-year members and aimed to promote inclusion, communication, and teamwork among participants.
The program featured interactive games and group activities designed to break the ice and encourage engagement between new and existing members. These activities allowed participants to interact freely and become more comfortable within the organization.
Members also took part in group-based tasks that emphasized cooperation and open communication. Organizers said the activities helped build connections, strengthen friendships, and foster positive relationships within the group.
The welcome party helped new members feel welcomed and included from the start. Organizers added that the activity contributed to a stronger sense of unity and belonging, which will support future collaborations and organizational initiatives.
The activity reflects the institution’s commitment to Unity and Service by fostering an inclusive and supportive student organization. It also demonstrates Excellence as members build collaboration and leadership skills through meaningful engagement.
