UAPSA–MSEUF welcomes students with interactive OSAlubong booth
The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary–MSEUF Chapter strengthened student engagement through an interactive OSAlubong booth held on July 21 and July 24 at the College of Architecture and Fine Arts Building.
The initiative aimed to build meaningful connections with architecture students while introducing UAPSA’s programs and advocacies at the start of the academic year. A pre-registration area allowed interested students to sign up on-site, providing a direct avenue for involvement.
An aspiration board invited students to share their goals, ambitions, and hopes for the school year. Organizers said the board became a focal point of the activity, reflecting enthusiasm and a growing sense of community within the department.
To boost outreach and visibility, UAPSA distributed organization-designed stickers throughout the event. The chapter also partnered with local businesses owned by enrolled architecture students, which contributed promotional freebies and highlighted student-led collaboration.
The activity recorded strong participation, with 116 students pre-registering to signify interest in joining the organization. All promotional items were distributed, reinforcing awareness of UAPSA initiatives and fostering a welcoming environment for incoming and returning students.
The activity supports the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by encouraging early engagement, leadership participation, and community-building. It reflects Unity through collaboration, Service by welcoming and guiding students, Mindfulness through listening to student aspirations, and Excellence by promoting active involvement in professional organizations.
