LUCENA CITY, Philippines — The Dr. Niels Mulder Scholarship Foundation (NMSF) participated in OSALUBONG 2025, a university-wide welcoming activity organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services, on July 17, 2025, at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.

OSALUBONG 2025 aimed to introduce recognized student organizations while welcoming freshmen and returning students for Academic Year 2025–2026. As part of the activity, participating organizations were required to display handmade banderitas bearing their official insignia along designated campus hallways.

NMSF installed its banderitas in its assigned area, contributing to the visually engaging and organized display of student organizations. Each group was given a specific space, allowing students to easily identify organizations through their logos and designs. Organizers said the colorful banderitas helped create a lively atmosphere that encouraged excitement and a sense of belonging on campus.

The display drew particular interest from incoming freshmen, who were able to use the banderitas as a guide in learning about the different organizations available at the University. The activity also promoted student involvement by showcasing the diversity of academic, leadership, and advocacy groups within the campus community.

NMSF members said their participation reflected the foundation’s continued support for student engagement and community-building initiatives. Through OSALUBONG 2025, NMSF joined fellow organizations in fostering camaraderie, strengthening connections, and welcoming students to a new academic chapter at MSEUF.

The activity supports the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by helping students become familiar with campus life and encouraging early involvement in co-curricular organizations. It reflects the core values of Unity through community-building, Service by guiding students as they transition into university life, Mindfulness through inclusive welcoming practices, and Excellence by promoting organized and meaningful student engagement.
