The MSEUF Pet Society participated in OSAlubong 2025 by setting up an interactive booth on Aug. 8 at the MSEUF Gymnasium to welcome first-year students and promote organizational involvement.

Following the orientation, students visited various organization booths around the gymnasium, with the Pet Society’s booth drawing steady attention. Attendees joined interactive activities such as “Guess the Animal,” “Animal Puzzle Challenge,” and “Copy the Animal Faces,” which combined learning with entertainment.

A photo booth also became a popular attraction, allowing students to capture moments with friends and create lasting memories from the event. To extend engagement beyond the booth fair, the organization displayed QR codes linking to its official Facebook page, an evaluation form for activity feedback, and a membership registration form for students interested in joining.

Participants received free stickers and crochet keychains as tokens of appreciation. Booth activities concluded at noon, marking a successful participation that increased awareness of the Pet Society’s mission and objectives.

Organizers said the booth effectively boosted the organization’s visibility and encouraged student involvement, particularly among first-year students adjusting to campus life. Expenses for the booth were covered through monetary contributions from Pet Society members and officers.

OSAlubong aims to formally welcome freshmen into the academic community, familiarize them with the University environment, and encourage participation in academic and extracurricular activities while fostering a sense of belonging on campus.

The activity reflects the University’s commitment to Service and Unity by welcoming new students and fostering meaningful connections through student organizations. It also demonstrates Mindfulness and Excellence as interactive, student-centered activities promote engagement and community building.
