MSEUF student groups bring Lingkod Aral outreach to ERAES pupils

MSEUF DOST Scholars’ Guild

Representatives from the DOST Scholars’ Guild and the Technology Math Club of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted the Lingkod Aral Program at Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School on Nov. 28, 2025, providing tutorial sessions and interactive learning activities for elementary pupils.

The outreach activity was participated in by three student members and aimed to enhance pupils’ academic comprehension, nurture their interest in learning, and build confidence through engaging, student-centered activities.

Designed as both an academic and values-oriented initiative, the Lingkod Aral Program created a positive and enjoyable learning environment for young learners. Through guided tutorials, shared stories, and interactive discussions, the activity sought to strengthen community ties while empowering children to view learning as meaningful and attainable.

Elementary pupils actively participated in the sessions, gaining new insights not only in their lessons but also in understanding the value of leadership, encouragement, and support from older mentors. The approach emphasized care and approachability, allowing learners to see the volunteers not only as student leaders but as kuyas and ates genuinely invested in their growth.

Organizers said the program had a heartfelt impact on both the pupils and the wider school community, inspiring curiosity and reinforcing the message that there are individuals and organizations committed to supporting children’s education and development.

The Lingkod Aral Program reflects the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by extending learning beyond the classroom and into partner communities. It embodies Service through volunteerism, Mindfulness through care and empathy for young learners, Excellence by promoting academic support, and Unity by strengthening collaboration between student organizations and community partners.
