Representatives from the MSEUF Association of Multimedia Artists and Technologists participated in “EU PROTECTION: Advocating Students’ Awareness on Sexual Health, Rights and Protection” on April 8 at the EMRC Main to promote sexual health, digital responsibility and student protection.

The whole-day program gathered three MASTECH officers and representatives for a morning seminar and free HIV testing in the afternoon.

The seminar covered online safety, responsible use of technology, cybercrime, cyberbullying and cybersex harassment.

Resource speakers also discussed sex education and HIV awareness to help students make informed and responsible decisions about their health and safety.

After the seminar, organizers conducted free and confidential HIV testing to encourage early detection, proactive health practices and stigma reduction among students.

Through the activity, participants strengthened their awareness of digital responsibility, sexual health, accountability and personal protection.

The initiative primarily benefited students from the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies while contributing to a safer, more informed and health-conscious university community.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service and Fortitude by encouraging students to make responsible decisions, protect their well-being and act with awareness in both digital and personal spaces. It also supported student-centered learning by providing practical knowledge on health, rights, online safety and responsible conduct beyond the classroom.

  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – The program promoted HIV awareness, sexual health education and access to confidential testing.
  • SDG 4: Quality Education – The seminar provided students with learning opportunities on digital safety, health awareness and informed decision-making.
  • SDG 5: Gender Equality – The activity supported awareness of sexual rights, protection and respect for personal boundaries.
  • SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions – The program promoted student protection, responsible online behavior and awareness of cyber-related risks.
