OSO conducts LEAPS training, recognizes accredited student organizations

The Office of Student Organizations conducted the Leadership Advancement Program and Services and awarded certificates to accredited student organizations on Jan. 9, at the Library Seminar Hall to strengthen digital reporting, organizational management and student leadership.

The program introduced the microsites designated for accredited student organizations and provided training on managing and operating the platforms.

Simoun Uy of the Web Content and Digital Engagement Office facilitated an interactive discussion on the use of the microsites.

Uy also discussed techniques for transforming narrative reports into news articles that follow publication standards and guidelines.

The activity also featured the awarding of certificates to accredited student organizations for academic year 2025-2026.

A total of 52 student organizations received accreditation. Of these, 34 organizations were re-accredited, 16 were placed under probationary status and two were newly accredited.

The event also recognized the top-performing student organizations for academic year 2024-2025.

The recognized organizations were LIB.COM, Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers-MSEUF Student Unit, Enverga University-Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, Technology Math Club and MSEUF Communication Society.

LIB.COM received its certificate of accreditation and was recognized as the top-performing student organization for the previous academic year.

Through the program, the university strengthened student organization governance, digital documentation and responsible campus leadership.


The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Excellence, Service and Unity by helping student organizations communicate their accomplishments clearly, manage digital platforms responsibly and collaborate with university offices. It also supported outcomes-oriented education by equipping student leaders with practical skills in documentation, publication and organizational accountability.

  • SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – The microsite training promoted the use of digital platforms for student organization visibility and institutional recordkeeping.

  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – The activity showed collaboration among the Office of Student Organizations, WCDEO and accredited student groups in strengthening campus engagement.
