LIB.COM celebrated National Book Week 2025 from Nov. 17 to 19 at the University Libraries through a series of interactive activities that promoted literacy, creativity and appreciation for books among students, faculty and staff.

The celebration, held in partnership with the University Library, carried the theme “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa.”

One of the featured activities, “Ink & Insight: The Stories That Stay With You,” invited participants to share their favorite book quotations, reflections and lessons through sticky notes displayed on a freedom wall-inspired space.

The activity encouraged students and book lovers to express their thoughts and deepen their appreciation for literature.

LIB.COM also conducted “Knowledge Roll,” an interactive game where participants picked rolled slips of paper containing questions about books, libraries, reading and general knowledge.

Participants who answered correctly received small prizes, making learning more enjoyable and engaging.

Meanwhile, “Shelf Awareness: Uncovering Hidden Gems” featured a special exhibit of valuable but often overlooked library materials to encourage students to explore more resources for academic and personal growth.

The exhibit increased awareness of the library’s collections and reinforced the role of the library as a center for knowledge and learning.

LIB.COM also introduced “Beyond the Pages: Press Play on Your Voice and Story!,” which allowed participants to record reflections and insights about their favorite books.

Through the celebration, LIB.COM strengthened its commitment to promoting literacy, learning and community engagement through meaningful library-centered programs.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Excellence, Service and Mindfulness by encouraging students to value reading, share insights and use library resources for continuous learning. It also supported student-centered education by creating interactive spaces where learners could express ideas, build confidence and appreciate literature beyond the classroom.
