LUCENA CITY, Philippines — The Enverga University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (EUJPIA) organized “Kaisa Kabataan: Igniting the Hearts of Youth for the Community 2025” to encourage young people to take active roles in their communities through leadership, volunteerism, and social responsibility.

The activity featured a mix of educational and interactive components, including games, group discussions, and inspirational talks designed to develop leadership skills and community awareness among participants.

The Dr. Niels Mulder Scholarship Foundation (NMSF) joined the initiative as a partner organization, with 10 NMSF scholars actively participating in the program. Two guest speakers delivered motivational talks that highlighted the importance of leadership, service to others, and initiating positive change within communities.

Organizers said the event successfully motivated participants to engage in community-based initiatives and prepare themselves as future leaders. NMSF scholars shared that the activity strengthened their understanding of leadership and teamwork while allowing them to collaborate with students from other organizations.

The partnership between EUJPIA and NMSF was highlighted through the inclusion of the NMSF logo in event materials and acknowledgments during the program. The activity was also promoted on social media, expanding awareness of both organizations and their shared advocacy for youth development.

Participants noted that the event fostered camaraderie and cooperation, reinforcing the commitment of both organizations to guide young people toward becoming responsible, service-oriented, and community-minded individuals.

The activity supports the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by nurturing leadership, social awareness, and civic responsibility beyond the classroom. It reflects the core values of Service through community engagement, Unity through collaboration among student organizations and partners, Excellence by developing leadership competencies, and Mindfulness by encouraging purposeful involvement in societal concerns.
