JFINEX welcomes new members through "KickOff Craze: JFINEX General Orientation 2025"
The Junior Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines–Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Chapter held its General Orientation 2025, titled “Kickoff Craze,” on Aug. 30 via Microsoft Teams to formally welcome new members and introduce them to the organization’s goals and activities.
The activity was attended by 15 JFINEX officers and 89 members and aimed to foster camaraderie, collaboration, and active participation within the organization. Organizers said the orientation created an inclusive space for members to connect, learn, and engage as they begin the academic year.
During the session, officers presented an overview of JFINEX, including its rules and regulations, planned activities, and opportunities for involvement. Advisers and officers were introduced to guide members throughout the year and serve as primary points of communication within the organization.
Membership matters were also discussed, including national membership benefits, the local membership fee, and its intended use for future activities and internal funding. Members were likewise oriented on the proposed organization polo shirt, which was approved through a vote by more than three-fourths of the attendees.
To encourage engagement, an attendance point system was explained, and an open forum allowed members to raise questions and concerns. Organizers said the orientation strengthened members’ understanding of JFINEX’s direction and motivated them to actively contribute to the organization’s initiatives.
Kickoff Craze concluded with closing remarks, officially marking the start of JFINEX activities for Academic Year 2025–2026 and reaffirming the organization’s commitment to building an engaged and supportive student community at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.
The orientation supports the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by encouraging leadership development, collaboration, and active student engagement beyond the classroom. It reflects the core values of Unity through fostering camaraderie among members, Excellence by orienting students toward purposeful and well-organized activities, Mindfulness through transparent communication and inclusion, and Service by preparing student leaders to contribute meaningfully to the academic community.
