Fine Arts Society joins tree planting initiative at Villa Hulyana

The Fine Arts Society mobilized its members for a tree planting initiative on Feb. 10, at May San Lorenzo, Villa Hulyana, to support environmental advocacy, community service and the university’s sustainability efforts.
The activity brought together student volunteers who planted dwarf coconut seedlings as part of efforts to contribute to Villa Hulyana’s local green belt.
Through the initiative, members of the organization supported environmental preservation while taking part in community-centered action beyond the classroom.
The activity also reinforced the Fine Arts Society’s commitment to social responsibility and active participation in university-led environmental programs.
By joining the tree planting initiative, the organization strengthened its role as a socially conscious student body and encouraged continued involvement in programs that benefit both the community and the environment.
The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service and Unity by encouraging students to care for the environment and work together for a shared community purpose. It also supported transformative learning by allowing students to take part in meaningful environmental action beyond their academic discipline.
- SDG 4: Quality Education – The activity promoted experiential learning and environmental awareness among student volunteers.
- SDG 13: Climate Action – The initiative supported sustainability efforts through tree planting and ecological responsibility.
- SDG 15: Life on Land – The planting of dwarf coconut seedlings contributed to local greening and environmental conservation.
