The College of Computing and Multimedia Studies brought together students from all year levels for its Year End Party 2025 on Nov. 24 at the Enverga Gymnasium, marking the first department-wide gathering of its kind in recent years.

The celebration gathered first- to fourth-year students from the Entertainment and Multimedia Computing, Computer Science and Information Technology programs to mark the end of the academic term.

Fourth-year students joined the activity despite the demands of their final defenses, using the event as a short break from academic pressure and an opportunity to reconnect with their peers.

The program featured interactive games that encouraged participation, laughter and friendly competition among students.

Among the activities were “Nagaano Ako, Eh Ikaw?” where participants described actions performed by the emcees, and another game that challenged students to shake crumpled papers out of a box strapped to their waists.

A grand raffle draw served as one of the highlights of the afternoon, with students eagerly awaiting the announcement of winners, especially for the top prize.

The MSEUF Association of Multimedia Artists and Technologists and the CCMS Cyber Council organized the event through a joint effort.

Organizers said the celebration strengthened connections within the department, boosted student morale and allowed learners to bond outside the classroom before the holiday break.

The activity supported Enverga University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by fostering a supportive academic community where students can build meaningful connections beyond formal instruction. It reflected the core values of Unity, Mindfulness and Excellence by promoting cross-year engagement, student well-being and a positive learning environment that supports both academic and personal growth.

  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – The activity provided students with opportunities for stress relief, social interaction and mental wellness.
  • SDG 4: Quality Education – The celebration promoted an inclusive and supportive learning environment that strengthens student engagement.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – The event highlighted collaboration between MASTECH and the CCMS Cyber Council in organizing a meaningful department-wide activity.
